In our industry the biggest challenge we face is "Driver Shortages". We hire only drivers with two years experience and that have good driving records. The driver shortage is only projected to get worse over the next several years until such time as the wages exceed other competing industries such as construction. We are faced with the possibility of training brand new drivers or lowering our standards from to 2 years experience to ?????. What's the risk of doing this? or of not doing this?

In the word of mouth marketing industry, the biggest challenge is that many clients fail to realize that there are two prerequistites to generating great buzz. First, you must be have a great product or service. Second, your business must be unique and memorable so people spread the word about what your business does. Too many people think that buzz is just a switch that can be turned on.
