Bill-
Nice job on the Lehrer interview...2010 is surely going to be one of the most interesting years, especially given the politics of the recovery coupled with it being an election year...

Hi Bill - Great job on the interview. Excellent points on the stimulus dollars, job impacts and so on. I was curious to hear your remark about how quickly spending could improve, especially for those who have had a job all during the downturn and have restricted their spending -- I have been thinking that since the beginning of this year but haven't been right so far. Do you think the recession will have long-lasting impacts on attitudes about spending?
